Battleship Solitaire is a logic game where you find hidden ships on a board designed to resemble the ocean. This page provides a clear explanation, from the basic rules to specific solving strategies.
Basic Rules of Battleship Solitaire
- Each time you click or tap on a cell, its state cycles in the following order:
Water → Ship → Blank → Water → Ship... in a loop. - By clicking or tapping and dragging to adjacent cells, you can change the states of multiple cells consecutively.
- The numbers written at the top and left edges of the board indicate the number of ship parts in each corresponding row or column. For example, if the number is "3," it means that row or column contains three ship parts.
- Ships must be separated by at least one cell in all directions. They cannot touch each other vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
- The black icons indicate how many ships of each size are hidden on the board.
- The game is complete when you find all the ships and fill the board correctly.
